Prior to joining the Foundation, David spent nearly 20 years serving across ministries, nonprofit organizations, and graduate theological education, with experience in grant writing, fundraising, leadership, marketing, and communications. Along the way, he has seen firsthand how generosity can grow out of ordinary relationships, shared faith, and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of others.
David also serves as the founding Director of Venture Compassionate Ministries, Inc., a recognized Nazarene Compassionate Ministry (NCM) Center in Henrietta, New York, and is a member of Calvary Community Church of the Nazarene in the Upstate New York District. His work is shaped by a desire to love our neighbors well, both across the street and around the world. Through local church, district, and global mission experiences within the Church of the Nazarene, he has seen how generosity and faithful service can strengthen communities.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education and Recreation Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Master of Business Administration from Medaille College.
Outside of work, David can be found tending his vegetable garden, enjoying Guatemalan coffee, biking along the Erie Canal, or spending time with his two daughters.
