Brian served as a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene, leading both small and large congregations across Illinois for over 22 years, including five years as a bi-vocational pastor. Prior to entering full-time pastoral ministry, he spent 18 years as a respiratory therapist in hospitals and home care. He also served as a hospice chaplain and, most recently, as a licensed real estate agent in Illinois. Each of these roles sharpened the same skill: sitting with people at some of the most significant moments of their lives and truly listening. Brian carries a deep conviction that every person's story matters and deserves to be heard. That same conviction shapes how he approaches gift planning, helping people think through what God has placed on their hearts and finding a plan that honors it.
Romans 8:28 anchors Brian through every one of these seasons: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." It's a truth he's leaned on through hospital rooms, hospice bedsides, and pulpits alike, and it's the same truth he now carries into the work helping others see how their own story fits into something good that God is doing.
